Use of The Name by Outside Organizations

Johns Hopkins Medicine has many types of business agreements with outside companies and organizations. Examples include sponsored research agreements, technology licenses, in-licenses of software and other business tools, and contracts with vendors. Use of the Johns Hopkins logo by outside organizations or any non-Johns Hopkins entity in any manner is prohibited unless there is prior written permission from authorized Johns Hopkins brand management representatives. When such permission is granted, conditions may apply. For example, vendors to Johns Hopkins are generally permitted to list the institution as a client; however, Johns Hopkins must be one in a list of clients in alphabetical order with the same size font, style and placement as other clients.
