Below are steps on how to use Johns Hopkins approved virtual backgrounds for Zoom conferences.
- Download the background you want to use here
- When in a zoom meeting, click on the arrow next to “start video” and select “virtual background”
- This will bring up your settings in a preview window, click the + symbol below the image preview and click “add image”
- Navigate to the location where you downloaded the image from step one and click open. Then you can choose the new image by clicking on the thumbnail.
- If the image and/or words look reversed, uncheck “mirror my video” at the bottom
- Start your video, you will now see yourself on the virtual background in the meeting.
