Create Efficient PowerPoint Slides (Printer & Resource Friendly)
Please consider the following when printing or sharing PowerPoint presentations:

  1. If possible print more than one page per sheet. By choosing "Handouts" when you print, you may print 2-9 slides per page.
  2. Only print the selection or pages you need to reduce the amount of paper and ink used.
  3. Duplex print if your printer permits to print on both sides of the sheet of paper.
  4. Print in grayscale when possible. The templates have been developed to efficiently print in grayscale.
  5. Minimize the number of images. Animations and videos should be removed before printing.
  6. Use Print Preview before printing to make sure you will get the expected outcome.
  7. Convert your PowerPoint slides into PDF documents. This will decrease the file size while still allowing users to print up to 6 slides per page. A PDF can be emailed to your audience before or after your presentation and can be viewed on their computer or mobile device.
  8. Always recycle your paper and empty printer cartridges.

The preference is not to use stock cartoons and clip art should be avoided. Using strong visual images,
photos build an impression of confidences to our customers and patients.

Many times individuals use Google images from searches for their presentations. However, many are copyrighted images and should not be used. Even if used innocently in blogs, websites and PowerPoint presentations, there can be consequences.
